Freelance – Los Angeles CA 1/08 – Present
Writer/Creative Consultant
Working with businesses, individuals and non-profits to create effective text, video and social media products. Writing novels, screenplays and creating television projects.
• Created short video pieces for HULU launch.
• Produced viral video for the winning “No on 1D and 1E Campaign”
• Co-created and managed a pilot storybanking program for Mental Health America

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online – Los Angeles CA 2006 - 2008
Producer/Writer – Advanced Projects Group
Working with multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of cutting edge projects connecting Disney attractions to online users in unique and exciting ways. Worked on projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinated unprecedented text messaging program for new Monsters Inc. attraction at Disney World that integrated SMS, web, animation and live performance to allow for unique audience participation
• Shepherding virtual and real-world collectable card game to completion
• Managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously with budgets of up to 6 million dollars.

Twentieth Century Fox Television 2004 - 2006
Sr. Producer/Content Manager
Oversaw the creation of FAMILYGUY.COM for Twentieth Century Fox Television. This new web presence was designed to promote the re-premiere of the Fox television show and further the growth of the brand.
• Coordinated the efforts of several FOX divisions such as Licensing and Merchandising, Home Entertainment and FBC, along with contractors such as Fuzzy Door, Big Spaceship and Zeek.
• Created Message Boards and wrote a complete episode database.
• Worked with the Family Guy production staff to create special features including blogs, podcasts and storyboards.

Paramount Digital Entertainment 2001 - 2004
Producer/Content Manager
Developed, produced and managed new content features for STARTREK.COM and ETOnline.com (Entertainment Tonight).
• Coordinated long term programming to coincide with Star Trek DVD releases, season premieres, movie openings, and other special events.
• Managed editorial, programming and design team on daily basis to create and publish new content including, interviews, video documentaries, alien dictionaries, daily clips, timelines, behind-the-scenes features and more.
• Wrote a user’s guide and technical manual for a new content management system for ETONLINE.COM and trained editorial and production staff to use the new system.

NewsDigital Media (Division of NewsCorp) – Los Angeles CA 2000-2001
Producer/Editor
Developed “Too Hot for Fox,” a broadband Web channel delivering humorous and outrageous video clips. Oversaw technical and design implementation including production documentation and user experience specs.

Sony Online Entertainment – Culver City CA 1997-2000
Writer
Wrote game questions and content for several online games including Everquest, Trivial Pursuit, Chain Reaction, and The Dating Game and several JEOPARDY variants. Co-Created new JEOPARDY! 2001 game focusing on science, technology and science fiction.

Freelance – Santa Monica CA 1993-1997
Writer /Producer
Created interactive content for a wide array of clients including Hasbro, Launch, Packard Bell/NEC, AT&T, Microsoft (MSN), Ivy West, Davidson and Associates, Phillips Media, R/GA Interactive, AOL, QVC and Foot Cone and Belding. Materials ranged from educational and training materials to pure entertainment.

Other Projects 

Instant Films
Produced over 240 short films with top Hollywood talent. Wrote dozens of them. Coordinated talent for 27 Instant Film Festivals
Sacred Fools
Founded a multiple award winning theater in my living room. Sacred Fools was named by LA Weekly critic Steven Leigh Morris as one of the best theaters of the past decade.
Annex Theater 
Co-Founded a thriving small theater in Seattle WA that is still considered one of the best small houses in the region. Raised initial capital and oversaw incorporation. Directed, acted in and/or designed many shows. Colleagues included Paul Giamatti and Jillian Armenante.
